Welcome to the website for Rural Water District No. 2 in Wabaunsee County, Kansas.
Our original water system served 430 members in 1991 and with construction of a Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Treatment Plant in 2001 the system has now grown to over 775 members. In addition to the water plant, the system consists primarily of three storage tanks, two pump stations, 235 miles of PVC pipe, business office and 280 square miles of service area.

+ The Annual Meeting of the members of Wabaunsee Co. RWD #2 is held on the second Wednesday of February. This is your opportunity to vote for Board positions, ask questions, make comments and be informed about your water.
+ If you have encounters with water sediment or discoloration we encourage you to contact us. Often times, the only way we will know that there is a problem is if you tell us! We are here to serve you.
+ You are always welcome to appear, whether you are on the agenda or not, at the monthly Board of Director's meeting held on the second Wednesday of every month at 7pm in the District Office.
+ We are always open to input about how YOUR water system is operated. Call, email, come to a monthly meeting or just stop in during office hours.
